New Features and Enhancements For ISUZU 2023

During the 2022 National Truck Equipment Association Work Truck Week trade show in Indianapolis, Isuzu Commercial Truck Corporation announced the start-of-production date for the 2023 model year version of its gasoline - and diesel-powered N-series truck. Let's take a look at these new changes.

2023 N-Series Gas

1. Four-wheel disc brakes: The NPR will feature 11.5-inch front and rear discs, while the NPR-HD will offer 14.3-inch front and 13.7-inch rear discs.

2. Updated cab appearance: The new grille is matte silver grille (chrome grille is still optional); Steering signal with accent eyebrows redesigned;Adopt double LED headlights

3. Enhanced interior color scheme: The color is matched with dark gray on the bottom and light gray on the top, which gives the driver a greater sense of space. The seats have also been changed, with grey and blue crisscrossed fabrics adding a modern feel and reducing wear and tear.

4.Class 3 and 4 Isuzu N-Series trucks are powered by a direct-injected 6.6-liter V8 engine with variable valve timing that generates 350 horsepower and 425 lbs.-ft. of torque. They are available in both Standard Cab and Crew Cab configurations, with GVWRs from 12,000 to 14,500 lbs. and wheelbases ranging from 109 to 176 inches to accommodate bodies from 10 to 20 feet in length.

2023 N-Series Diesel

1. Isuzu Advanced Driver Assistance system adds an important feature(ACC)

2. Enhanced standard electronic vehicle stability control (EVSC) and anti-skid adjustment (ASR).

3. AEBS can be mounted on a dashboard and controlled by the driver with a switch, and automatic emergency Braking (AEBS) includes vehicle and pedestrian detection.

4. The fuel tank is flat-mounted to the top of the frame and has top-mounted fuel return and fuel supply ports

5. There are two optional aluminum side mounted fuel tanks.

6. A larger fuel sedimenter/filter allows improved service intervals and includes a standard heater.

9.Class 4 and 5 Isuzu N Series diesel trucks are powered by isuzu's durable and reliable 5.2-liter 4HK1 TC turbocharged intercooled four-cylinder diesel engines with four valves per cylinder and direct injection. This proven powerplant produces 215 horsepower and 452 pound-feet. Superior torque performance while delivering superior fuel economy and 50 state emissions certification. They are offered in standard cab and occupant cab body styles, GVWR from 14,500 to 19,500 pounds. The wheelbase varies from 109 to 212 inches, and the body length ranges from 10 feet to 24 feet.
